Executive Chef

We have a great pleasure to introduce our new Executive Chef – Łukasz Rakowski.

When he was a child he was dreaming about repairing cars. However, thanks to his mother who was also a Chef, Łukasz has fallen in love with cooking. Thus he went to gastronomical school and during that time he took part in Carlos Gonzalez Tejera educational program “Apprentices fetching for Masters”. Then he had a training at Bristol Hotel in Warsaw where he could learn from Karol Okrasa. Afterwards he worked at one of the best Restaurants in Poland – Amber Room – run by Wojciech Modest Amaro (the very first Polish Chef with Michelin star).  In 2010 he started his adventure with Restaurant & Bar Cristal in Białystok as Sous Chef. Thanks to the fast personal growth he was nominated by magazine “Kuchnia” for  the title of “Chef – Rookie of the year” in 2012. Eventually in June 2015 Łukasz took a position of Executive Chef in  Restaurant & Bar Cristal. He is an enthusiast of local and traditional cuisine. The culinary tradition growing throughout generations in his family, made his dishes full of Podlasie region’s tastes and flavors.  In private life he is married to his wife Karolina and he has a daughter Marysia.
